Christ Church is a Grade 1 listed building and as such, requires a constant scheme of maintenance and improvement.

The 'Friends' is a body of people who have an interest in Christ Church, Streatham. They may or may not be members of the congregation, they may or may not live locally.  Some are Christians, some are not, but all are people of goodwill who recognize the place this building has in the national heritage and in the local community.  They wish to share in the burden and the joy of preserving the fabric, furnishings, and ornament of the Church.

Christ Church is home to a thriving and growing multi-cultural congregation that reflects both the cultural richness and the material deprivation of the area and seeks to serve the community and to provide a place of welcome and fellowship to all who wish to share in it.
